The week of Oct. 7-Oct. 13 has been designated as National Fire Prevention Week. The Westbrook Fire & Rescue Department encourages everyone to develop and practice home fire escape planning with their families.

The department is holding an open house Sunday, Oct. 7, from 1-4 p.m. at the Public Safety building.
