The Scarborough Public Library is offering demonstrations on Thursday, Sept. 27 at 2 and 6 p.m. on accessing new features added to the library’s Web site and use of the resources available through Maine’s Virtual Library, MARVEL!
The library’s Web site now includes free access to
e-newsletter subscriptions, in-depth profiles on thousands of authors and book titles, updates on the New York Times best sellers, the latest in award-winning adult, teen and children’s titles, and more.
The MARVEL! demo will show how to access and navigate Maine’s Virtual Library database using a quick link on the library’s Web site. MARVEL! provides free, full-text access from home or the library to thousands of magazines and reference sources.
