On the fence
On Aug. 20, at around 8:45 a.m., a representative of Bangor Savings Bank on Route 1 reported the theft of three 6-foot sections of picket fence, valued at $468.
Cursed truck
On Aug. 23, at around 11 a.m., a clam digger reported swear words had been scratched into the hood of his truck parked at Pine Point Fisherman’s Coop on King Street, causing $400 in damages. He believes the scratches may have been made by another digger who didn’t like him.
Scoot away
On Aug. 25, at around 2:15 p.m, a resident of Anchor Lights Apartments on East Grand Avenue reported the theft of a motorized scooter, valued at about $1,000. The owner said he loaned the scooter to someone to take a test drive, but the scooter was never returned.
Lock your doors
On Aug. 26, at around 9 p.m., a Buxton resident reported a motor vehicle burlary at Wal-Mart on Payne Road. He had left his truck unlocked for 25 minutes in the Wal-Mart parking lot. Prescription medication, cigarettes and $6 cash were stolen from inside.
