The Scarborough Red Storm field hockey team (1-0) got its first win of the season with a 7-1 win road win over the Windham Eagles.

The Storm offense was paced by Cara Snyder and Brittany Ross, who each scored two goals. Goalie Erika Schneller got the win with 10 saves in the net for the Storm.

For the Eagles, Christina Maiorino had the lone goal.

The Red Storm were scheduled to take on Bonny Eagle on Tuesday in the Storm’s home opener. On Sept. 6, the Storm travel to Deering for a 3:30 p.m. game. The next home game for the Storm is Sept. 8 at 3:30 p.m. against Kennebunk.
