Lydon-Twomey Family Reunion Group Photo
CUTLINE ONLY
The first Lydon/Twomey family reunion was held Aug. 18 at Camp Ketcha in Scarborough, with more than 200 guests attending, including the descendants and relatives of John and Alice (Twomey) Lydon, major landowners in Cape Elizabeth throughout the last century. A genealogy and family tree spanning almost two centuries was on display, as well as an art exhibit featuring family photographs from as far back as the Civil War. Guests enjoyed a barbecue while mingling with relatives from near and far. Organizers say the reunion was “an unqualified success.”
