Breakwater Daybreak Rotary Club of South Portland-Cape Elizabeth has selected Hobbs Funeral Home of South Portland as the recipient of its first Rotary Merchant of the Month award for August. Club president Gary Berenson, left, presented the award to Jeffrey Hobbs, president of the family-owned business. Criteria for receiving the award include outstanding service to the community and a record of social commitment. Hobbs Funeral Home has served the South Portland and Greater Portland area since 1941.
