This Saturday, Aug. 25, there will be a Maine Youth Field Day at the York County Fish and Game Club on Route 35 in Lyman. The free event begins at 8 a.m. and participants can start checking in at 7 a.m.

The activities at Maine Youth Field Day, which is open both boys and girls ages 8 to 15, will consist of conservation and wildlife education, fishing, shooting and archery. Participants should bring their own snacks, lunch and soft drinks.
