Registration for Scarborough Community Services senior trips
has begun. On Tuesday, Aug. 28, seniors can attend a Portland Sea Dogs baseball game. The Community Services bus will depart the lower high school parking lot at 5 p.m. Cost of the trip is $5.
On Thursday, Sept. 13, a bus will leave the lower high school parking lot at 8 a.m. for a trip to the Owl’s Head Transportation Museum for a two-hour tour. The museum exhibits cover 200 years of transportation history, including original and replica aircraft, automobiles, bicycles and much more. Cost of the trip is $15.
Registration with Community Services is required for both trips. Call 730-4150 for more information.
Thanks to the generosity of State Manufactured Homes and the Desfosses family, bingo will continue to be held on Fridays at noon at the Hillcrest Recreation Center, 108 Hillcrest Ave., Scarborough.
