Police are trying to identify a man whose body was found floating Monday morning at Aspasia Marina’s docks near Front Street in South Portland.

An employee of the marina reported finding the body at 7 a.m. The body was recovered from the water with the assistance of the U.S. Coast Guard and transported to Augusta for an autopsy.

The man was wearing a black and orange tropical shirt, blue khaki pants and sneakers.
