A free heart-health clinic, made possible by funds from the Narragansett Number One Foundation, will be held Wednesday, June 20, from 9a.m.-noon in the Community Room at Elwell Farms, 443 Long Plains Road in Buxton.

The clinic, open to all Buxton adults over age 18, provides health education and screenings including weight, blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar testing to individuals screened for heart disease risk factors.

Conducting the clinic will be staff from HomeHealth Visiting Nurses, a nonprofit home-health agency providing skilled nursing, rehabilitation, home health aide support, medical social work, parent and child health care, and community health clinics, Lifeline, Home Telehealth and other services in York and Cumberland counties.
