On Thursday, June 14, a lecture and slide show about Windham’s Antique Homes will be presented at Windham Historical Society, 234 Windham Center Road. The 7 p.m. program will be followed by a tour of the Parson Smith House on Saturday, June 16 from 9 to 11 a.m.
Linda Griffin, a broker at Pleasant River Properties, member of the Historical Society and expert on old houses, will present the program, which is sponsored by the Parson Smith House Acquisition Committee.
Donation is $10 for an individual or $15 for a family. Proceeds will be used to help purchase the c. 1764 Parson Smith House on River Road in Windham. Plans include creating a museum and living history center.
