The committee for Westbrookâs litter cleanup on May 5 reports that it was a success.
More than 100 people were estimated to have participated and $50 was donated to the Westbrook Food Pantry.
Businesses that contributed included Full Court Press, Hannaford, Home Depot, 302 Redemption Center and Pepsi Cola along with Jobsinme.com.
Churches included Prides Corner Congregational, River of Life (Salvation Army), Trinity Lutheran, Vineyard Christian Fellowship of Greater Portland and Westbrook-Warren Congregational. Civic groups were Westbrook High School Key Club, Kiwanis Club, a Girl Scout troop and the Frenchtown Community Association.
