A man was hospitalized with an apparent ankle injury after falling from a motorcycle while turning around in a gravel driveway about 4 p.m. today at Dumbo Enterprises, 86 Longfellow Road, Gorham.

The man’s name was unavailable. Terry Deering of Gorham Fire and Rescue said the motorcycle rider was taken to Maine Medical Center in Portland.

Fred Robinson of Gorham was driving past and stopped when he saw the motorcyclist lying in the driveway. Robinson said the motorcyclist asked him if his ankle was bleeding. Robinson said the bike wasn’t damaged.

The accident was reported to dispatch by Dave Bowman of Longfellow Road.
