Scots still struggling
The Bonny Eagle baseball team continues to struggle. When they score runs, the pitching lets them down. And when they get good pitching, they cant’ score enough runs.
Such was the case on Tuesday in a 1-0 loss to Noble. Pitcher Lincoln Sanborn allowed just one unearned run and he scattered three hits.
Against Thornton Academy on Friday, May4, the Scots fell 5-4 in 10 innings. Trailing 3-0, the Scots rallied to take a 4-3 lead before the Trojans forced extra innings with a late run.

In the bottom of the 10th, Matt Leach knocked in Danny Ingraham for the Trojans’ winning run.
The Scots are 0-7 this season and they were scheduled to host Sanford on Friday.
