The Scarborough boys scored a 5-0 win over Bonny Eagle last Friday afternoon. Singles winners included Saltz, Tolman and Eddy. And the Storm’s doubles teams of McElwain/Gove and Cowie/Waller also picked up straight set wins.
The South Portland girls tennis team topped Scarborough by a 4-1 score on Monday with the Red Riots getting wins from Brianna Jaro, Dory Crowley and Sophie Boyce. The South Portland doubles team of Becky Braley and Jessica Peruzzi also earned a win.
Scarborough picked up a victory when the Buttarazzi/Libby duo eanred a win at No. 2 doubles.
The Cape Elizabeth girls improved to 5-0 with a 3-2 win over Waynflete (4-1) on Monday.
Melissa Slack won her No. 2 singles match 6-1, 6-0, and the Cape doubles teams came through with wins that sealed the victory.
The duo of Stack/Furman took a straight set win 6-0, 6-0 and the
Steinman/Takach team won 6-2, 6-2.
The Cape Ekizabeth boys team improved to 6-1 with a 3-2 win over Waynflete (2-3) on Monday. Steinroeder claimed a 6-0, 6-3 win at No. 2 singles and the doubles teams of Braun/Moyer and Takach/Flathers both won in three-set matches.
