“Scrapping for Skills USA” is a benefit scrapbooking event scheduled for Saturday at the Westbrook High School cafeteria, from 9 a.m.-6 p.m.

Those attending should bring their own supplies, cartridges and mats. A Cricut papercutting machine will be set up with two cartridges. Lunch, snacks and prizes will be provided. A Creative Memories consultant, Rhonda Perkins of Gorham, will be on hand to sell supplies and take orders for Creative Memories projects.

Registration is $35. Organizers hope to attract at least 20 people Proceeds will benefit Skills USA at Westbrook Regional Vocational Center, national organization with local chapters that helps students with leadership skills and community service projects. It will also benefit Westbrook vocational students who compete in different trade categories at the state and national level. A team of four is going to a national event on June 25 at Kansas City, Mo., competing in the Health Knowledge Bowl.
