Scarborough High School varsity boys basketball coach Matt Townsend takes time to visit a session of a Scarborough boys Travel Basketball team made up of 2nd, 3rd and 4th graders. Coach Townsend worked with the kids on defensive footwork and handwork, and pivoting and passing.
“It is very important for these kids to know the high school varsity coach and hear things from him that he considers important for them to learn. Matt always is willing to do these visits. I think it will help our town build better players.” said Dan Warren, coach of the boys post-season program called Bazooka Basketball.
