Chetley earns national award

A nurse at Gorham House has been chosen for a national award.

Linda L. Chetley has been named the Outstanding MDS (minimum data set) Coordinator for 2007. Chetley assesses needs of residents at Gorham House.

“The national award is given annually by the American Association of Nurse Assessment Coordinators

The award “goes to the nurse who goes above and beyond the call of duty in their daily work, touching the lives of the residents in special ways,” said Michelle Belhumeur, Gorham House administrator. “We are quite proud of her,”

Belhumeur said Gorham House nominated Chetley and she was chosen from 7,000 nominees nationwide. She will receive her award at a March 9th luncheon to be held during the association’s spring conference in Philadelphia, Pa. “Because she is so detailed orientated, she stands above the rest,” Belhumeur said.
