The Bonny Eagle hockey team cruised past Massabesic/OOB, 12-1, Saturday night to earn their 10th win of the season. Curtis Rowe had four goals to lead the attack for the Scots.
Bonny Eagle surged ahead in the first period with four unanswered scores. Rowe accounted for two of those and the other tallies came from Travis Dunn and Taylor Bishop.
The second period was more Bonny Eagle as they picked up five additional scores. Bishop had one in the second as well as two more from Rowe. Adam Childs and Kayle Hamilton also scored in the second period. The Seastangs picked up their lone goal in the middle period when Adam Rosenthal scored while short-handed.
The Scots added three more goals in the third period from Hamilton, Joe Mendes and Zack Litif. Bonny Eagle goalies Cody Bradway and Aaron Laconte combined for eight saves. The Scots converted on three of their five power play opportunities and they also outshot the Seastangs by a large 45-9 margin.
Bonny Eagle was scheduled to take on South Portland on Thrusday. These two teams met earlier this season with the Scots coming away with an 11-4 win.
