New Year’s trash schedule

Town Clerk Christina Silberman said there won’t be trash or recycling collection on New Year’s Day, Jan. 1.

She said trash normally picked up Monday would be picked up on Tuesday. “This pushes trash and recycling collection for the rest of the week ahead one day. Tuesday’s routes will be collected on Wednesday, Wednesday’s routes will be collected on Thursday, and Thursday’s routes will be collected on Friday. The following week we will return to the normal collection schedule,” Silberman said.

Storm events may also cause similar schedule changes. For more information, contact public works at 892-3649.
