Bonny Eagle had three players in double figures as they earned a 52-42 win at Portland on Tuesday evening. The Scots led 28-20 at the break and they played well enough defensively to keep the Bulldogs from mounting a second half comeback.

Meghan Ledoux led all scorers with 21 points. Lyndie Libby contributed 14 points and Laura Bell added 12.

The Scots are now 2-2 with a home game against Scarborough on Friday.

On Saturday, McAuley handed Bonny Eagle its second loss of the season. The Lions wasted no time taking a commanding first half lead on their way to a 72-27 victory.

McAuley continues to pound opponents and they remain unbeaten following a 58-23 victory over Windham. The Lions led 23-5 after the first quarter and 42-14 at the break as they moved to 3-0 on the season. Windham falls to 0-5 with the loss.

Senior Ally Noble led the Eagles in scoring with 11. Ashley Corkum finished with four points and Taylor Graves added three.

The Eagles were scheduled to host Sanford last night in their last game before the holiday break.

On Saturday, South Portland also opened an early lead against the Eagles as the Red Riots rolled to a 48-34 win. The Riots led 36-13 at the half.

Sarah Brown was Windham’s high scorer with seven. And Ashley Blanchard, Rhonda Cole, Ally Noble and Jenna Willey all chipped in with four points.

Greely handed Lake Region its first loss of the season on Tuesday in Cumberland. The Rangers blew open a close game with a fourth quarter surge that gave them a 57-40 victory.

On Saturday, the Lakers jumped all over Poland to take a 66-25 win.
