The Cape Nordic Ski Association will host the annual fundraiser for Cape Elizabeth’s High School and Middle School Nordic Teams on Sunday December 3, from 4-7 p.m. at the Cape Elizabeth High School cafeteria.

Advice from Nordic experts representing Peak Performance, including Roger Knight, will be available. Knight has served as the Swix Race Service Director for the past five years

If you are looking for information on equipment, waxes, and racing at all levels, stop by! Specialty equipment and tips to assure that those hand-me-downs from the swap are fitted appropriately will be shared. New ski equipment and accessories such as warm up pants and ski wear (including kid’s clothing) will be offered as well. Special values will be available to the Cape Nordic skiing community.

In addition to the ski swap, a silent auction will be held. Items include a year’s membership to Lifestyle Fitness Centers, 100 gallons each of home heating oil and biofuel donated by Downeast Energy and Mother’s Day brunch at The Nonantum Resort in Kennebunkport. In addition, there will be gift certificates and quality items donated from local merchants, delectable home-made goodies and crafts, personal care and fitness services, ski equipment, vacation rentals, and gift baskets, This is a great community event for skiers and non-skiers alike.

Come have fun with friends and neighbors, get a head start on your shopping and enjoy a meal of delicious soups, chili’s and chowders. Admission to the auction is free.
