These include hand-sewn and knit goods, ceramic items, dried flower wreaths and arrangements, woodworking, homemade fudge, baked goods and so much more. They will also be selling products from Third World countries. Other nonprofit groups participating are the Windham Historical Society, North Gorham UCC, the Windham Hill Club and Friends of Feral Felines.

Veterans Day

The Windham Veterans will hold the Veterans Day Celebration on Nov. 11 at the Veterans Memorial Park. The program will begin at 11 a.m. with the arrival of a color guard and the retirement of the now-tattered flag which has flown since Veterans Day last year. The National Anthem will be sung by Gloria Jean, a well known local performer. Our town manager, town council and all three state legislators will be present to participate in the program. At the conclusion of the ceremony outside, everyone is invited to move inside to view a collection of military uniforms and equipment from former wars and to enjoy refreshments.
