Just an old fashioned fair – Saturday, Nov. 11, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., St. Ansgar Evangelical Lutheran Church, 515 Woodford St. (Rosemont Corner), Portland. Homemade Yulekake Christmas breads, international gifts from Scandinvia, along with homemade items including candy, fudge, jellies and white elephants. Coffee, pies and a special luncheon at an old fashioned price.
Saint Joseph’s Manor fair – Sunday, Nov. 12, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Saint Joseph’s Manor, 1133 Washington Ave., Portland. Major raffle prizes include a child-sized John Deere battery powered 4 x 2 vehicle, handcrafted jelly cabinet, handcrafted quilt, handcrafted staine glass picture and a 13-piece set of collectible doll Franklin Mint cats; luck wheel prizes every five minutes with every spin having a minimum value of $25; baked goods, fudge, crafted items, and extensive lunch menu with an Italian flair.
