It’s election time again with all its promises. It’s always the same things “Lower taxes, health care for everyone,” and many more that never happen. There are many people without health care because they cannot afford it. When are all these promises going to happen?

It doesn’t matter who is in office, they just spend, spend. I believe it’s time the people made the government account for all the spending. If I can’t afford something, I don’t get it. Not the government – they just borrow what they want and we pay it back.

Why are we being compared to the State of Colorado? Why can’t we do things on our own and not always have to follow some other state? It’s always the people making the high salaries that are always crying for more money.

They want us to believe the state will come to a standstill – close schools, lay off teachers. That’s where they start because education is very important and they know people won’t stand for that.

Don’t forget, taxes went up this year, and next year, a revaluation and up they go again. We have the highest taxes in the country because of all the spending we cannot afford.

Please vote yes on Question 1, the Taxpayer Bill of Rights.
