The voters in Westbrook, House District 126, are lucky to have a conscientious state representative like Tim Driscoll serving as their representative in Augusta. Tim attended all the committee hearings, work sessions, and was a great asset on the Labor Committee. Rep. Driscoll always asked good questions that showed his concern for his home district and what impact legislation would have on the local citizens.

Tim worked hard to help create a Pine Tree Zone at the Sappi Mill property to encourage economic development and new jobs through growth of businesses that wish to locate on much of the under utilized property. Tim was very active as a former school committee member in the additional school funding under LD 1 and made sure Westbrook’s funding was increased. He is a Rep that all of Westbrook can be proud of because he clearly believes in putting people first.

Please re-elect Rep. Tim Driscoll as the representative from House District 126 so he can continue to fight for educational gains, affordable health care for all and to protect working families.

I also encourage the citizens of House District 125 in Westbrook to elect Ann Peoples as their state representative. Ann has experience in many Westbrook community activities over the years including terms as a city councilor from Ward 2 and then Ward 4 after she and her husband, Patrick, relocated. She will work for property tax relief, affordable health care for all, improved educational opportunities, good paying jobs with a strong economy, and maintaining Maine’s clean environment.

She is an active listener and will be ready to help citizens with problems from day one because Ann truly believes in putting people first in whatever she does. Please support and elect Ann Peoples on Nov. 7 as the representative from House District 125.
