I have known and been friends with David R. Fernald since our freshman year (1958) at Bowdoin College. He is intelligent, honest and very hardworking. As he seeks your vote, consider his business experiences that have taken him all over the United States from New York City to San Francisco to San Antonio and finally to Portland. A born “Mainer,” as I am, he understands the unique issues that face our beautiful state of Maine and our communities, such as Westbrook. His experience from having lived in many areas of the country provides him with an outlook that transcends the parochial or provincial attitudes of many other legislators.
David is a devoted family man who, with his wife “Muffie,” raised four terrific and successful daughters. He knows how important “family” is and will represent you and yours with passion and dignity.
