The Gorham planning office has rescheduled a site walk for 8 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28, for an asphalt plant and quarry proposed on Mosher Road (Route 237) by Shaw Brothers Construction, Inc.

The walk was postponed Oct. 12 because of heavy rain. Parking will be available at Morin Brick, 329 Mosher Road.

Shaw Brothers Construction initially is planning a $3 million portable asphalt plant, as a forerunner to a $10 million permanent plant. The 60-acre quarry would supply stone to be crushed for the pavement mix.
