Junior goalkeeper Meghan Ibar (Milwaukee, Wis./Pius XI) posted eight saves to lead the University of Southern Maine Huskies past the Plymouth State University Panthers 2-0 to pick up her second consecutive shutout in a Little East Conference women’s soccer match played Saturday afternoon at the USM Soccer Field.

The victory was the third in a row for the Huskies, and lifts their record to 4-7-0 overall and 2-2-0 in conference play.

Senior forward Julia Cyr (Standish/Bonny Eagle) scored the first goal in the 30th minute as she booted a shot from just inside the 18.
