Free computer workshop
Beyond the Basics: a Microsoft Work Workshop for adults will be offered by the Raymond School Department in partnership with the Raymond Village Library. Doris Horne, Data Strategist, will facilitate this two-night workshop on Monday, Oct. 16 and 23, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Raymond Elementary School computer lab. Book Group
The selected book for discussion in October is Joe Coomer’s “Pocketful of Names.”
The discussion will take place on Oct. 25, at 7 p.m. at the library. All interested readers are invited to attend. For more information, call Jane at 655-5354.
Halloween
Before you go trick or treating in the village on Halloween, be sure to get into the spooky spirit by attending the special Halloween Stories event at the Raymond Village Library. It begins at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31 and very special guest storyteller, Deb Keefe, librarian at Raymond Elementary School, to tell the creepy stories.
