Plan ahead to attend the craft fair to be held at Pat Riley’s, Gray Road, Nov. 11 and 12 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This will be a huge fair with crafts done by Pat, Beth Derenberger and Rita Bernier. There will be a large selection of crafts including rugs, paintings, and many sewn crafts.

Jody Doty and daughters, Karey and Jill, recently came from North Carolina for a weekend to visit Jody’s parents, Ed and Polly Varney. Ed was in Maine Medical Center and they, plus Jody’s daughter, Jenny from Boston, daughter, Jill and Tracey, Jody’s sister, all visited him. They had a great time visiting with each other.

Meeting

The Lake Region Shriners will meet at Charlie Beiggs Oct. 17. The meal will begin at 5 p.m. Spouses are also welcome.

Library

A scary selection of B-movie collectibles from librarian Barbara Keef will be on display through Dec. 1, at the Windham Public Library. She has collected the items in her collection for about 10 years, everything from movies and posters to action figures and toys. zombies, rats, mutant lobsters, Robby the Robot, Mothra, Wolf Man they are all on display. Both the new and the classic Godzillas are also on show.

Meeting

The Windham Wheelers ATV Club will meet Oct. 17 at the East Windham Fire Barn at 7 p.m. For more information about the club, contact Kevin Bailey at 892-0664 or Chris Charbonneau at 893-8246.

Harvest of Quilts

Don’t forget the Harvest of Quilts at the Windham Hill Church today, Oct. 13 and Oct. 14. It will be held from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. and the admission is $5. There will be door prizes, a quilt raffle and a merchants’ mall.

No meeting

There will not be a meeting of the Rebekah Lodge No. 71 Oct. 18. They will be attending the Rebekah Assembly at Governor’s in South Portland.
