The Scarborough volleyball suffered their first match loss of the season last week to Greely, 3-0 (10-25, 13-25, and 20-25).

Coach Jody King said “Greely’s hard hitting and serving caused us difficulties. We couldn’t set up aggressive attacks due to the first pass going too far for the setters to place it effectively to our hitters.”

The Red Storm got back in the win column in Thursday’s match with Gorham, winning 3-1 (25-14, 14-25, 25-22, 25-19).

The current Heal Point standings have Scarborough (6-1) trailing top-ranked Greely (6-0). The Red Storm travel to Cony tonight (Sept. 28) for a match.
