My wife and I have just finished our annual Maine vacation. In the past three years, we have been renting a cottage from Lyle and Jan Cramer. We discovered that Lyle is a candidate for House District 125 in Westbrook. We would like to extend our endorsement for Lyle.
Lyle is a people person and a businessman. Each summer Lyle and Jan greet Ellen and me with fresh blueberry muffins and a bouquet of flowers from their cottage gardens. The cottage and grounds are immaculate and Lyle is always prompt to mow the lawn and take away the garbage.
Lyle also runs a Maine Guide service. We don’t hunt or fish, but Lyle offers a wildlife safari canoe trip and an historic canoe tour that follows the canoe trails used by early settlers of Union, Maine. He is a very creative and diligent person.
During the three years we have known Lyle and Jan, we have come to see them as good friends and part of the family, not as our cottage landlords. The citizens of Westbrook are very fortunate to have a candidate like Lyle on the ballot. I wish we had a candidate like him down here. When you elect Lyle to the legislature, I’m sure he will serve you as well as he has served us.
