In honor of the Windham Auto Show, what is your favorite car of all-time?

Pat Smith, 14, Standish

“1969 Chevy Chevelle. Speed. Muscle car. Big block.”

Lori Murch, 45, Baldwin

“I own a ’69 Camaro, and it’s my favorite car. I like it because it’s fast and old. I don’t drive it much because I’m too busy.”

Kristopher Nadeau, 26, Windham

“1968 Pontiac GTO. My father, Ray Nadeau, had one for a while. It was just fast. Punch the accelerator, it could lay you back in the seat. He’d probably be glad not to have it now with the price of gas.”

Linda MacLean, 47, Windham

“1957 Chevy. I like the style of it. I like the curves in the hood. I’ve always liked the red ones.”

Ron Wofford, 55, Sebago

“I like different cars because of different features in those cars. I like the Dodge Magnum for both its performance and looks. I like the Dodge Viper also because of its power and performance and its looks. I like Ford’s new sports car. It’s a high-end car, rides real low to the ground and has gull-wing doors. Ford’s going to bring back the GT 500. That’ll be a nice car.”

Pat Kimball, 68, Gray

“Ford Model T with a rumble seat. When I was kid in Georgia, the lady across the street had one. She also had a Studebaker. I learned to drive on it. It was just unique. Riding in the rumble seat was the highlight of it.”
