Class of ’61 reunion

The Westbrook High School class of 1961 is having a reunion 6 p.m.-midnight on Saturday, Oct. 7, at Keeley the Katerer, 178 Warren Ave., Portland.

Remembrance ceremony reminder

A remembrance commemorating the anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001, will be held at 5 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 11, at Riverbank Park.

Police, fire and rescue departments from around the region will participate, as will members of the U.S. military.

Michel exhibits artwork

The artwork of Caren-Marie Michel of Westbrook will be on display through September at Norway Savings Bank, 158 U.S. Route 1, Scarborough.

Fine arts festival

The Westbrook Community Chamber presents the Westbrook Riverwalk Fine Arts Festival, from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 9, at Riverbank Park.

The rain date will be the following day.

Post 62 has been raising funds to install an elevator at its headquarters on Dunn Street. The Westbrook Historical Society museum occupies the second floor.
