The Sunshine Club of Webbs Mills will hold its first public supper of the 2006-2007 season on Saturday, Sept. 2 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Crescent Lake Community Center on Route 11 Webbs Mills, Casco. The menu will include homebaked beans (vegetarian included), hot dogs, American chop suey, pasta, jello, and potato salads, cole slaw, cornbread, homebaked pies and beverage.
Though the price of gasoline has gone up our prices remain the same as last year: Adults are $6, children 5 to 12 years are $3 and children under 5 years are free. Dine with friends or make new friends at the Sunshine Club supper.
The Sunshine Club holds its suppers on the first Saturday of every month from September through December and February though May. This is the only fundraiser that this group does and all funds go to repair and maintenance of the Crescent Lake Community Hall which was previously a public school in Casco. Remaining funds are used to support people and projects in the greater Casco community.
