The sixth anniversary of the CG Group Portland Division of the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps will be celebrated Sunday Sept. 3, at 1 p.m., at the American Legion Post, 413 Broadway, South Portland.

There will be a short ceremony reviewing the history and accomplishments of the unit. The event is an opportunity for the public to talk to cadets, staff and family members about the Sea Cadets.
