VNA Home Health Care is offering training classes for those interested in becoming hospice volunteers. A new training class will begin on Monday, Sept. 18, at 1 p.m.
The class covers all aspects of volunteer hospice care and end of life issues. Successful completion of the training leads to certification and placement with an individual and families facing terminal illness.
Th training class consists of eight, four-hour sessions on Monday from 1-5 p.m. All sessions will be held at the VNA office at 50 Foden Road in South Portland.
