Summer Reading Program
The Summer Reading Program will end on Aug. 21 with a party at the library. For more information, please call 655-4283.
Children’s Programs
There will be no children’s story times for the month of August. They will resume at the regular times on Monday and Wednesday mornings in September.
Book Discussion Group
The book group will meet at the library on Aug. 30 at 7 p.m. The selected book is the classic, “Cry the Beloved Country,” by Alan Paton. We are pleased that so many of our summer friends have come back to join us and extend an invitation to anyone who loves to read and would like to share their thoughts and opinions on the chosen book.
Book Sale
The Annual Book Sale is still in full swing! The books are plentiful, the prices are very low and the selection is varied. Come in and gather your annual reading, pick up books for your personal library, or find those special books for those special people in your life.
We have both hardcover and paperback books available for purchase, as well as videos, audio books and puzzles. There are always new books arriving, so be sure to come in more than once.
We are always accepting donations of gently used books for the library collection and book sales.
The library will be closed on Sept. 4, celebrating Labor Day.
