Stork arrived early
Grace Ann Chamberlin was born June 10, five weeks sooner than expected in Bristol Hospital in Bristol, Conn.
She is the daughter of Kevin W. and Annik S. (Carrier) Chamberlin. Ira Chamberlin of Westbrook is the great-grandfather of the new arrival.
When she was born, Grace Ann weighed 4 pounds, 12.9 ounces and was 17 inches long. Her grandparents, Scott and Pamela Chamberlin of Windham, arrived in time for her birth, although she arrived early. They said it was a complicated pregnancy but Grace Ann is healthy and gaining weight everyday.
Patricia A. Gervais of Windham is a great-grandmother; maternal grandparents are Claude and Ginette Carrier of Bristol, Conn.; and great-grandmothers are Simone Robert and Blanched Carrier of St. Honore, Quebec, Can.
The family and friends are anxiously awaiting doctor’s approval for Grace Ann to travel to Maine. Pamela Chamberlin spent most of June helping out in Connecticut and she and Scott returned to Connecticut again this month to visit.
Grace Ann’s father, Kevin Chamberlin, is a 1997 graduate of Windham High School and is now a clinical professor at the school of pharmacy at the University of Connecticut. Her mom, Annik Chamberlin, is a pharmacist in Connecticut.
