At a recent Raymond Lions Club meeting, club president Bob Gilmore presented Howard Stiles, chairperson of the Raymond Veterans’ Memorial Committee, a check for $1,600 to purchase the flags and the flag pole for the Raymond Veterans’ Memorial. Stiles said the fund drive continues and all contributions, which can be sent to the Town of Raymond with a memo for the Veterans Committee, are always welcome.
