Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Isaac R. Shreves has graduated from the Air Traffic Control Operations Apprentice Course at Keesler Air Force Base, Biloxi, Miss.

Shreves, the son of Robert and Julie Shreves of Carpenters Way, Windham, is a 2005 graduate of Windham High School.

The course is designed to train students to control enroute and terminal air traffic by use of visual, radar, and non-radar means at air traffic control facilities. Students learn aircraft identification and to initiate and issue air traffic control clearances, instructions and advisories to ensure the safe, orderly and expeditious flow of air traffic operating under instrument and visual flight rule.
