Schoolhouse Arts Center at Sebago Lake will be holding its Summer Arts Camp for ages 6 to 13 from July 17 through July 28.
The camp runs Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and offers a creative alternative to traditional summer day camp with classes in art, theater, music, dance, and more. Campers will have the opportunity to choose several different classes in the performing and visual arts, and work together with other campers to present a theater performance at the end of the two-week session. Tuition for this two-week camp is $330.
Schoolhouse also offers a Theater Performance Camp for ages 12 to 18 from July 31 through August 11. This camp runs Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This unique camp gives teens the opportunity to work on and present a student-designed musical theater performance. Campers will work with instructors to design the costumes, sets, props, and rehearse for their own production to be performed on the Schoolhouse stage at the end of the two-week session. Tuition for this two-week camp is $300.
Schoolhouse Arts Center is located on Route 114 just north of the intersection of routes 114 and 35 in Sebago Lake Village.
