Editor,

I took some time to think about losing the election and discovered that there are no losers. We all benefit in some way from every endeavor that we undertake.

I have discovered through campaigning that there are some wonderful and interesting residents in Windham and most are really concerned about how the town is run by both the School Board and the Town Council.

I would like to encourage voters to not leave it up to your neighbors to make your decisions for you. When the opportunity that this wonderful democracy has given you arises again, please get out there and vote.

I would like to thank my family and friends for encouraging me to run and all the support that I received from many people. I would like to applaud all who cared enough to run and I wish all the individuals who won the election a very successful term in office.
