Loon Echo Land Trust announces its fifth annual Lakes Region Photo Contest open to all amateur photographers from June 15 to August 15. The theme this year is “lakes, ponds and streams.”
Prizes will be awarded for “Overall Best Photo” and for “Best Photo” in each of two age groups: under 18 years old, and 18 and older.
Film and digital photographs will be accepted. Each photo must be accompanied by an entry form and $10 and must be the current work of the photographer. Winners will be announced on August 31. Entries will be judged on overall appeal, content, and skill.
