Gorham celebrated the town’s 250th anniversary in 1986. Reflecting Gorham’s agricultural roots, Bob Young drives this yoke of oxen pulling a float in the parade 20 years ago. The first settlers arrived in Gorham, then called Narragansett Number 7, in 1736.
