June 26: Jon Miele, one of Windham’s most talented creative artists, will present a program titled “Changes in the Performing Arts in my Lifetime,” at the Windham Historical Society on Windham Center Road at 7 p.m. The public is invited. There is no fee but donations are always welcome. Refreshments will be served following the program and a brief business meeting.
June 27: Windham Center Stage Theater will hold its Annual Board Meeting at the Windham Public Library on Windham Center Road at 6:15 p.m. This meeting is open to the public as new officers will be elected as well as board members; annual reports and other theater business will be discussed. Please come and get involved with a great community theater!
June 30: “Happy and Healthy with Herbs” with Deborah Gideon of Raymond. 7 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 988 Roosevelt Trail, Windham. Come and learn the ways to use herbs in attaining good health, energy and vitality. We’ll discuss and sample herbs. Donations only. Refreshments.
July 1: Meet a Live Eagle at Maine Wildlife Park: Join Maine Wildlife Park staffer Adam Farrington and immature bald eagle ‘Lawrence’ for an informative program about eagles in Maine. Although this eagle does not have the white head and tail of a 4 yr old adult bird, he is impressive to see and photograph up close! FMI 287-3303.
