There just was something about Gerry (Spencer) that I don’t know how anyone who knew him could not like him.
He was always interested in everything someone else was doing and if he felt you as a true friend he wanted you to know how he was doing also.
I never heard Gerry speak badly about anyone and he always asked about how my family was doing as I did with him also.
We always had great talks before the meetings and we would talk about everything under the sun. He always spoke very highly about his wife and family. I admired Jerry for who he was and some day I hope I can learn to walk in the shoes he filled.
He was very inspiring to me as an individual and has been greatly missed by me. I know that everyone that truly knew Gerry admired him as much as I did. So, for now Gerry I will say so long and some day I will meet you again on the other side.
