Visit
Two dear Windham friends had a chance to reunite for a visit on May 21 when Margaret Peggy Fletcher traveled to Sanford to visit Beryl Varney at her home in Mayflower Place. Peggy and Beryl have known each other since they were young girls both living on the Nash Road in Windham. They had a wonderful time as they caught up on all that was going on in their lives.
The visit was twice as nice as Peggy was brought over to see Beryl by Nellie Knight, also of Windham, and she and Beryl’s daughter, Julia Cheney, had a chance to visit for the first time since they graduated together from Windham High School in 1964! It was a fun afternoon for all! The next day Beryl fell and was just released from Mercy Hospital on June 5. Beryl wishes to thank all her family and friends for the special cards, phone calls, flowers, love and support she has been given by everyone. The family also wishes to thank the caretakers at Mercy for taking such good care of her during her stay.
