June 2, 3: The American Cancer Society will hold the eleventh annual Relay For Life. Activities and events are held all night into the morning including 4 bands, three free meals, free coffee all night from Starbucks, and wacky lap walks all night! June 3: The Little Meetinghouse on Route 302 in North Windham is holding a yard sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Those wishing to take advantage of Route 302 frontage for their yard sale items can participate by paying $25 per space. The Little Meetinghouse Corporation is currently raising money to restore the steeple. Call Phyllis Smith at 892-3059 or Jerry Black at 892-4981 to reserve a space.

June 3: Mountain Division Trail Family Fun Walk & Run 5K and 1K will start at 9 a.m. Family Registration (4 or more immediate family members) is $25, $7 for an individual. Registration on the day of the event is 8-8:45 a.m. at the start line at Johnson Field on Route 35. Out and back on Mountain Division Trail 2-mile course.

June 3: Public supper from 5-6 p.m. at American Legion Hall on Lewiston Road in Gray. Beans, chop suey, hot dogs, breads, desserts. Adult $6, children under 12 $2.50. Under 5 are free.

June 3: All Star Concert Band at Saco River Grange Hall in Bar Mills. Marches, show tunes, jazz selections. 25-30 piece band. Tickets are $12 for adults; seniors and students are $10. FMI 929-6472.

June 3: Public Baked Bean Supper from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the East Baldwin Church Parish Hall. Adults $6, children $3, four years and under are free. Benefits the Brown Memorial Library. On the same day in the Community Room at the Brown Memorial Library, there will be a public auction of antiques and collectibles. Preview from 5 to 6 p.m. with the auction starting at 7 p.m. Auction benefits the Baldwin Historical Society.

June 4: Maine Antique Paper Show at Holiday Inn West, 81 Riverside Street, Portland. 40-plus exhibitors. Vintage postcards, photos, maps, and other memorabilia. Admission $4.

June 7: Windham Public Library’s Health Chat is from 6-7 p.m. in the meeting room at the library. The topic is diabetes and it is being presented by Martin’s Point Health Care. This program is free of charge. Please contact Barbara at 892-1908 for more information.

June 10: Wildlife Cartoons and Buttons at Maine Wildlife Park: Meet Maine Artist/Cartoonist/Author Tom Merriam for personalized wildlife cartoons and buttons; photographs with Kennebago Bear or Moxie Moose, and a look at a variety of his wonderful children’s books and wildlife artwork with some for sale! June 14: The Southern Maine Volkssport Association holds a regular meeting at 6 p.m., held in the General Assembly Room of Walker Memorial Library located at 800 Main Street, Westbrook. The meeting is open to all, and everyone is invited.
